Saturday Football Tips: Shoot for profit with Saints

Saturday looks a good time to return to an angle originally put up a couple of weeks ago.

I feel a little bad throwing up the same arguments but the prices simply look too good to miss.

Southampton defenders Mohammed Salisu and Kyle Walker-Peters have been conjuring up plenty of shots of late and that is worth paying attention to.

Salisu is a major threat from set plays - not something Palace have dealt with at all well this season. Indeed, only four teams have conceded more Premier League goals from such situations.

Salisu has had at least one shot in seven of his last 11 league games, with five of those seeing the Ghanaian centre-back having two or more. His respective odds in this game are 13/8 and 9/1.

As for Walker-Peters, he appears to have been given more licence to get forward from full-back (or wing-back) in recent times. His shot numbers certainly suggest so.

The new England international has hit 2+ shots in four of his last six games and six of his last 11, yet he's at 23/10 to land that aspect again here.

The suggested approach is to have two-thirds of the stake on a 1+ shot each Bet Builder (something that landed in last week's game against Brighton) at 3.7669/25 and the other third on 2+ shots each at 33.781639/50.
