Netherlands v France
Friday 13 November, 19:45
Live on Viaplay Sports 2
When Ronald Koeman returned to the Netherlands hot-seat at the start of this year, his first game in charge brought a 4-0 defeat to France.
After a 20-game unbeaten spell under Louis van Gaal (the Dutch only lost on penalties at the World Cup to eventual champions Argentina), it was an embarrassing and worrying start to a new era.
The ship has been steadied since then with three successive wins in Euro 2024 qualifying but concerns remain and a place in Germany is far from guaranteed.
Defeat here to the leaders, who have won five out of five and are yet to concede, could see them overtaken by Greece - and the Dutch head there on Monday.
In short, this is a big game for the hosts but their recent record against quality opposition is a worry.
Koeman's men shipped four goals to Croatia and three against Italy at June's Nations League finals so the potential for French goals is clear - especially when you consider the hosts' injury list, which includes Matthijs de Light, Jurrien Timber, Frenkie de Jong, Memphis Depay and Cody Gakpo.
France are certainly tempting at a shade of odds-against but instead I'm going to turn my attention to Kylian Mbappe.
If France score multiple goals, then he'll almost certainly be involved with Mbappe having scored or assisted in 14 of his last 20 international starts.
He's landed the score-or-assist bet in four of five qualifiers so far, scoring twice and assisting once in the reverse fixture, and nearly always plays the full 90 minutes - also a boost for props punters.
Overall, he's got 40 goals and 25 assists in 71 caps.
Having also made a flying start to the season domestically, Mbappe gets the nod.
The PSG star usually starts on the left of the attack and that brings Denzel Dumfries into play in the fouls market.
No-one committed more fouls at last season's World Cup than the Inter Milan full-back, who has now delivered 2+ fouls in 12 of his last 15 international appearances.
It's not hard to see him struggling to deal with Mbappe's pace down that side and so Dumfries 2+ fouls is happily added to the Bet Builder.
Finally, given what's at stake and the referee in charge, expect a few cards.
As already explained, this is a big game for the Dutch, while France know a win could see them qualify for next summer's finals.
Felix Zwayer is the man with the whistle and his strong card record has featured in this column before, particularly in relation to the Champions League.
The German has shown 4+ cards in 34 of his last 40 UEFA club appointments, while at international level, the equivalent stats is 11 of his last 14.
Backing over 3.5 cards here takes our three-legged Bet Builder to a juicy 5/16.00.
