Friday Betting Tips: Shots value on offer in West Brom v Burnley

Darnell Furlong: Has had a shot on five of his six starts this season

West Brom v Burnley promises much in the Championship on Friday night and our football props column has an 11/4 shot for the big game.

Two attack-minded sides go head-to-head in what should be an entertaining Championship game on Friday night.

Only Sheffield United and Norwich have had more shots so far this season than these two and while both have also defended pretty well, that natural propensity to get on the front foot makes the shots markets an obvious port of call for punters.

The value with the hosts, whose expected goals (xG) figures suggest they should be top instead of in the bottom half, lies with full-back Darnell Furlong.

He's even money for at least one shot in this contest but he's managed that in five of his six starts this season.

While he was only on the bench for the last game against Wigan, he is widely expected to return here with Steve Bruce needing to reshuffle his defence following an injury to Semi Ajayi.

Some may be tempted by the higher lines too.

For Burnley, Josh Brownhill has been pushed on under Vincent Kompany's management and his data shows he's landed the 2+ shots bet in all seven games thus far.

He's 4/6 to do so here which again looks more than fair.

Put the pair together in a Bet Builder and you get an 11/4 chance.
