Strugglers to entertain
CSA v Ponte Preta
Thursday 7 July, 23:00
Our run of winners stopped at seven yesterday, as Faroese champions KI let us down by drawing a blank in a 3-0 defeat at Bodo Glimt. In the immortal words of Steven Gerrard, we go again.
We'll take in a game from the second tier of Brazil now, as CSA face Ponte Preta. The market doesn't expect goals, but I think both sides can find the net.
Ponte Preta (or the She-Monkeys, as they are otherwise known) have only won two of their last 13 matches at this level, but they have had a knack of scoring on the road. They have scored in 11 of their last 15 away matches. Both teams have found the net in five of their last 10 matches.
CSA are also in poor form, with two wins in 16 in the league. A BTTS bet has landed in six of their last 12 league outings, and at the Estadio Rei Pele, they have found the bet at least once in 13 of their last 15 home games at this level.
BTTS is trading at 2.3411/8 here, and I think that's a price worth snapping up.
