Thursday Football Tips: Rosenborg to edge Crusaders in 14/5 double

• Rosenborg won all four games v Crusaders

• Both sides earned 1-0 wins in last competitive outings

It's the Europa Conference League qualifiers for us on Thursday as Norwegian side Rosenborg travel to Northern Ireland for the first leg of their tie against Crusaders.

Rosenborg have been Norwegian champions a record 26 times as the dominant team in the country, but they've not won thr title not since 2018 and third last year is their highest finish for three years.

2018 was also the last time Crusaders were crowned champions and they're back in Europe after missing out the last two seasons.

The Norwegians head to Seaview having beaten Crusaders in all four previous meetings and will be confident again of getting a result.

Leg 1: Rosenborg to win

I must admit there's always a bit of trepidation about picking the match result in these types of games, but after a poor run Rosenborg have won their last two including an away win last time out.

That helps settle the nerves about backing them at 4/71.57 for another away win but against a Crusaders team that scraped a 1-0 at home against FC Haka in the last round that's fair enough.

They finished off last season losing the last two at home and although only friendlies, losing 4-1 to TNS and 3-1 to Rangers B would hardly inspire confidence for the hosts.
