Brighton v Newcastle
Saturday 2 September, 17:30
Live on Sky Sports Premier League and Main Event
Two attack-minded teams should produce an entertaining game in front of the TV cameras on Saturday evening.
And it's straight off to the shots markets in a bid to take advantage of that philosophy.
I'll start with Solly March, a punter's friend when it came to shots last season; this term has started no differently with the wide man at the heart of Brighton's shooting numbers.
He gets into some great positions in and around the box and that's now resulted in him having a shot on target in 17 of his last 22 starts. I'm happy to put him down for another here.
I'm also following Pervis Estupinian in this market at the start of the campaign.
He's given plenty of licence to put forward down the Brighton left. He's landed the 2+ shots bet twice already this season but I'm going to play things a bit safer by taking the 1+ option here, given the level of opposition.
The Ecuador international has landed that in 11 of his last 13 games.
Finally in the shots market, Bruno Guimaraes is the man to side with on Newcastle's side of the ball.
The midfielder has managed a shot in eight of his last 10 outings and looks get involved in attacks from what is often a deep-lying role.
To complete a four-legged Bet Builder, I'm also going to take Guimaraes in the fouls market.
Newcastle are third in the early fouls standings, with Brighton among the top six most-fouled sides.
He's a shade of odds-against for 2+ fouls which fits the numbers - it's a bet he's delivered on in 18 of his last 37 club starts.
However, with this looking like a game in which he could well be rather busy - Brighton have had 67% of the ball in their games so far, the fourth-best figure in the league - I'm happy to include this leg in a bet which pays just over 6/17.00.
