For those who don't know, the Brazilian season kicks off with the various state championships around the country.

For those in Sao Paulo, the Campeonato Paulista is heading towards the business end with the second semi-final taking place on Thursday.

It sees reigning Brazilian champions Palmeiras up against Novorizontino, a side who ply their trade in Serie B.

The visitors have impressed in this competition, beating Corinthians in the league phase, while they also drew at home to Palmeiras.

But a trip to Allianz Parque is a different kettle of fish and the hosts' extra quality should shine through.

Leg 1: Jose Lopez to score

We've also got shots markets available for this game and while the home players all look short enough, there looks to be value in backing the visitors' danger man, Romulo.

He's actually already signed a contract with Palmeiras but will line up against them here and will surely be keen to impress both management and the home fans.

Romulo is 11/102.11 for a shot on target in this one but has already landed this in eight of his 12 games this season. He's had nine SOT in his last four appearances and while the level of opponent rises here, it's notable he's already managed this against Palmeiras in the league stage, and also against Red Bull Bragantino and Sao Paulo, two other Serie A sides.

Palmeiras did concede nine shots (four on target) in their comfortable win in the previous round, so Romulo makes the cut.
