Most people would more than welcome a November trip to Gran Canaria, but Atletico Madrid won't be able to relax on their sun loungers against impressive Las Palmas.

The Canary Islanders are enjoying a fine return to La Liga, with three wins in four putting them in 10th - which is even more impressive when you consider they're the league's worst scorers with just a paltry eight goals to their names.

Atletico have won six on the spin and can go level on points with leaders Real Madrid and Girona with victory here, but it will be hard work against a Las Palmas defence that's only conceded 10 - that's just one more than Diego Simeone's side.

They should get the points, but it could be a grind...

Leg 1: Under 2.5 goals

There's hardly been a ton of goals to cheer on in Las Palmas home games this season, with just seven in five games.

Only one of those five matches has produced over 2.5 goals, and although Atletico have been producing plenty of goals this is a tougher assignment than you'd think at first.

The hosts have only conceded 2+ goals once this season, against Real Madrid away from home, so they've every chance of keeping this one close.

So 23/202.15 on the unders is the bet.

Leg 2: Alvaro Morata to score

So we're not expecting too many goals but Atleti are fancied to win, so someone has to score, and chances are it'll be Alvaro Morata.

The well-travelled Spaniard has scored in back-to-back games and in three of his last five, so even as 6/52.20 favourite in the anytime goalscorer market we'll back him to find the back of the net.

Morata has also scored against the other promoted sides Alaves and Granada so looks like the men who can unlock a stubborn Las Palmas side.
