Sunday Football Tips: Go for Griezmann in Atleti win

Atletico Madrid are looking in decent touch as they look to continue a fine recent domestic run at home against struggling Alaves.

Diego Simeone's side have two games in hand on the three teams above them, and a win here would make it their best return from their first 10 games since their title-winning season a decade ago.

Alaves are just three points outside the relegation zone with just two wins from 10 so far, and with Atleti holding a 100 percent home record it looks like a tough task for the visitors.

Leg 1: Atletico win to nil

Alaves have scored just two away goals in five games, which could negate the fact that Atlei have conceded in all four home games - all of which they've won.

The Frenchman has bagged his last four Atletico games in a row, and six out of seven - so his form can't be argued with.

Alaves don't actually concede too many goals per game, but they have conceded in every away games so far and Griezmann is the man in form to score another.
