Next Premier League Manager to Leave
Will Nuno be sacked for the second time this season?

Nuno Espirito Santo is the favourite to become the next Premier League manager to leave as the West Ham manager prepares to lead his team into a relegation six-pointer against the club that sacked him earlier this season...

Nuno Espirito Santo is the favourite on the Betfair Sportsbook to become the seventh managerial casualty of the season ahead of West Ham's relegation six-pointer against his old club Nottingham Forest.

A whirlwind week for managers, which saw Man Utd and Chelsea sack Ruben Amorim and Enzo Maresca respectively, as well as Celtic ditch Wilfried Nancy, has left punters wondering who could get the boot next.

The life of a football manager is full of ups and downs but Nuno has endured an extraordinary few months by any standard. This time last year, his Forest side were in with a shout of qualifying for the Champions League, then they sacked him in September, before he took over at West Ham.

Now the Portuguese is 17/201.85 to be the next manager to leave and suffer the indignity of being dimissed twice in the same season.

The Hammers are 18th in the table, four points off 17th- placed Forest, and  2/131.15 to be relegated. They ditched Graham Potter earlier this season but Nuno has had little impact since taking charge, winning just two games.

Tonight's match against Forest at the East London Stadium has taken on huge importance - for both clubs' chances of survival and potentially for Nuno's future. In his match preview, Lewis Jones predicts a tense contest.

Slot's future in doubt again and Frank under pressure

Arne Slot's future is again the subject of speculation after Liverpool's mini-resurgence was halted by draws against Leeds and Fulham.

The Dutchman, who steered the Reds to the title in his first season in charge, is 10/43.50 on the Betfair Sportsbook - second only to Nuno - to be next boss out.

Liverpool go to leaders Arsenal - get an Opta stat and tip for this match and all others this midweek here - for a game that could tell us plenty about where Slot's side are right now. Getting a result would allow the Reds to believe they can enjoy an strong second-half of the season, while losing badly would be an indicator of how far they have fallen in 2025/26.

Thomas Frank's brief at Tottenham was to improve dramatically on last season's 17th-placed finish under Ange Postecoglou. Spurs currently sit 13th and odds of 15/28.50 for a top six finish indicate they will struggle to qualify for Europe.

The Dane is 4/15.00 to leave his job next and spark another managerial search at the north London club. Draws against Sunderland and Brentford have done little to convince fans that Frank is about to get Spurs moving in the right direction. They go to Bournemouth tomorrow for another tricky assisgnment.

It has been a brutal start to 2026 for Premier League managers and the next casualty may be just around the corner. Keep reading Betting.Betfair for the latest news from the markets.
