Premier League football tips and predictions

19:30 - Tottenham v Newcastle: Back struggling sides to produce goals

Paul Higham: Five of the last six for Spurs and 13 of 18 league games for Newcastle have seen goals at both ends, and 6/10 on both teams to score here suggests those runs will extend. Plus this is the most played Premier League fixture never to finish 0-0 (61 matches).

I can see absolutely anything happening here - Spurs can't keep losing at home and Newcastle can't keep suffering heavy away defeats - so I'm tempted by the score draw at 10/3 but I can't even trust these two to do that! So instead I think just backing goals is the way to go, and then just sit back and embrace the chaos.

Newcastle have the fifth-best strike rate for over 3.5 goals in games this season while three of Spurs' last five have gone over this mark.

19:30 - Everton v Bournemouth: Back second-half goals

The Opta Stat:

Each of the last four Premier League meetings between Everton and Bournemouth has been 0-0 at half-time, with each of the last 11 goals in this fixture coming in the second-half. 

19:30 - Chelsea v Wolves: Back goals

Mark Stinchcombe: Two sides in decent form face off at Stamford Bridge on Tuesday night. Chelsea have won their last four Premier League matches whilst Leeds have tasted defeat just twice in their last 12 games. New Chelsea boss Liam Rosenior has overseen nine games since he's arrived with a massive 33 goals in total at an average of 3.67 per-game! Fourteen of Leeds' last 21 games have gone Over 2.5 goals and this Chelsea attack will fancy their chances against a visiting defence that's conceded two or more in 10 of their last 20 matches. The reverse fixture finished with four goals as Leeds ran out 3-1 winners and I'm hoping for more of the same.

20:15 - West Ham v Man Utd: Back 50/1 bet builder

Mike Norman: Summerville has scored for five games running, so let's chance that he makes it six with an anytime goal, and Fernandes has five assists to his name in his last five games (seven in his last eight games) so hopefully he can grab another assist on Tuesday night.

Finally, let's add in those shots on target numbers to the mix. West Ham are averaging close to five per game in their last four outings and United are averaging close to seven per game. Combine all four selections in a Bet Builder that pays out at 50/1. Not bad for four selections that completely fit the recent form book.

West Ham v Man Utd Tip 2: Back goals at Old Trafford

Mark O'Haire: Manchester United are fun to follow again. The Red Devils have scored at least twice in all four of Michael Carrick's interim matches with the Red Devils looking dangerous in forward areas. Bruno Fernandes is more comfortable and effective in the advanced role and Bryan Mbeumo has excelled as the central striker.

Meanwhile, West Ham have also found their mojo of late, racking up three victories in four. Paco Jemez's influence has been notable with the Hammers providing much more final-third punch; Taty Castellanos, Jarrod Bowen and Crysencio Summerville are all excelling - the Irons have now notched twice or more themselves in five of seven. All the ingredients are therefore in-place for a goal-filled game at the London Stadium. 

EFL Championship tips and predictions

20:00 - Birmingham v WBA: Back the hosts in Midlands derby

Jack Critchley: Birmingham had to work hard for their three points on Saturday afternoon despite having a man advantage for the majority of the contest. The Blues tested Asmir Begovic on several occasions, and were fairly wasteful at St. Andrews, taking 21 shots, creating three big chances and chalking up an xG of 1.44. Thankfully, Jay Stansfield's accuracy extended their unbeaten run to six games and the play-offs remain in sight for Chris Davies' men. 

They have been bolstered by the January signings with the first addition of the window, Kai Wagner, looking razor-sharp and solving the left-sides conundrum, which plagued them throughout the first half of the campaign. 

They are far better in front of their own fans, unbeaten here since 18 October, but a few too many draws have prevented them from climbing into the top six. 

West Brom were far better at the weekend. Eric Ramsay has had an incredibly tough start to life at the Hawthorns and back-to-back games against Stoke and Birmingham aren't particularly straightforward for the former Minnesota boss. Nevertheless, he ditched the back five against the Potters, which gave the XI a far better balance. 

He also drafted Daryl Dike into the XI for his first start of the season, and although they registered just two shots on target, they looked far more cohesive and were doing the basics correctly. 

It feels like a bit of a tough ask for them to pick up their first victory of the Ramsay tenure here at St. Andrews, but they should be up for the fight. The central defensive partnership is still a little suspect, so I don't expect it to hold firm for 90 minutes, but they aren't likely to crumble.
