Burnley v Aston Villa - Basement boys?

There's not much point to this fixture.

Burnley are relegated, Scott Parker's gone and his former side have seemingly thrown in the towel, losing their last five on the spin to fall towards the foot of the table.

With three games to go, they are two points ahead of Wolves. They have this clash with Aston Villa, then a trip to Arsenal before they host the Wanderers on the final day of the season.

Going off on a bit of a tangent here but Wolves have Brighton and Fulham to play. At 3.185/40 with the Exchange, backing Burnley To Finish Bottom is tempting.

Back to the game at hand at Turf Moor where this fixture has little importance for the visitors either.

Aston Villa reached the Europa League final with an emphatic win over Nottingham Forest on Thursday.

They're fifth in the Premier League table with a six point cushion on sixth. So, there's every chance they'll be playing in the Champions League next term and we know from the XI Unai Emery fielded last weekend where his priorities lay.

At 1.645/8, I wouldn't back the Villans.

I think the best way in is to back Burnley not to win another point all season - AKA them to finish bottom of the league at 3.185/40

Crystal Palace v Everton - Eagles focus on European final

Crystal Palace are in a European cup final after brushing aside Shakhtar Donetsk 5-2 on aggregate.

Domestically, they aren't mathematically safe but no side has ever been relegated with 43 points in the Premier League era.

So, the prerogative of their remaining four league games ahead of the Europa Conference League final with Rayo Vallecano is probably avoiding injuries to their key players.

Visitors Everton have a little more on the line domestically.

Winless in four, they've sunk to 10th in the table but are within three points of the European spots.

Nottingham Forest v Newcastle - Point to prove

Elliot Anderson's price to be shown a card appeals at 5/23.50.

He has seven to his name this season and a cards per 90 average of 0.26 across two seasons at Nottingham Forest.

Here's the interesting thing though. One of his cards in the reverse of this fixture and another two of those came against Newcastle's rivals Sunderland.

Anderson signed for Newcastle as a youngster but was sold to facilitate the Magpies spending spree a couple of seasons ago.

It could just be coincidence but based on the pattern this season, he looks to be harbouring a bit of resentment towards his boyhood club while simultaneously keeping the ol' rivalry alive. .

West Ham v Arsenal - Point to prove

This is a massive game at both ends of the table.

By the time kick-off comes around on Sunday, Arsenal will know the result of Manchester City's game with Brentford.

The Gunners head into the weekend five clear of the Cityzens but Pep Guardiola's side have a game in-hand.

West Ham, on the other hand, will have the chance to gain some ground on Tottenham, who host Leeds on Monday night.

The Hammers sit in 18th, a point behind Spurs but with a goal-difference 17 goals worse.

Although Nuno Espirito Santo has improved his side, their record against the top half leaves a lot to be desired.

In 19 games, West Ham have only won once and that was against Everton (10th). That said, they did hold both Manchester clubs to draws at the London Stadium and both of those results came within the last three months, during which time West Ham have only lost three games.

I have a sneaky suspicious they could get a result here and if I going to get proven right, their captain will need to be firing on all cylinders.

Jarrod Bowen has had a hand in 18 goals this season and picked up five yellow cards.

Across his last 13 Premier League appearances, he has netted two goals, set up nine and got two cautions.

Given the magnitude of this game, I wanna back him to do something and his price of 15/82.88 about him to score or assist appeals.

So too does the 6/17.00 for him to be booked and combining the pair at 18/119.00 is worth a poke as well, the latter has landed three times in the league.

If you are really greedy, you could back Bowen to score, assist and be carded but I don't think the 78/179.00 available is big enough.
