Ex-Bayern Munich manager Julian Nagelsmann
Is Nagelsmann on his way to Stamford Bridge?

Get the latest odds on the next Chelsea, Leicester and Tottenham manager markets after Brendan Rodgers and Graham Potter left their jobs on an extraordinary weekend...

Julian Nagelsmann is odds-on to become Chelsea's next manager after the club sacked Graham Potter following six months in charge.

In a fascinating twist, Potter is the favourite at evens to become the next Leicester boss after Brendan Rodgers left them by mutual consent.

The extraordinary events of the weekend had reprecussions for the next Tottenham manager betting too.

Rodgers is 13/8 to be their manager next season while Mauricio Pochettino is 5/1.

Blues out to nab Nag

Nagelsmann had been the favourite to get the Spurs job but bettors now think Stamford Bridge his most likely destination.

Reports on Monday morning said Chelsea had approached the German who was sacked by Bayen Munich 11 days ago.

The European football management merry-go-round is in dizzying swing with Thomas Tuchel, who was sacked by Chelsea in September, seeing his Bayern side beat Dortmund 4-2 on Saturday in his first match in charge.

If Nagelsmann is installed at Chelsea quickly he will be in charge for their Champions League quarter-final first leg against Real Madrid a week on Wednesday .

Win that and the Blues could play Bayern in the semi-finals. Were that the case you could forgive either German boss for sitting down in the wrong dugout.

But let's not get ahead of ourselves. First Chelsea play Liverpool in the Premier League tomorrow with Bruno Salto in charge as interim boss. He's 11/2 to get the job full-time.

Mauricio Pochettino 7/2 is the man sandwiched between Salto and Nagelsmann in the next Chelsea manager betting.

Rodgers overtakes Poch in Spurs boss betting

It would be a surprise to see the Argentine in charge in west London after his five years as Tottenham boss. He has been out of work since leaving PSG last summer, though, and could leap at the opportunity to manage a top Premier League again.

He would almost certainly prefer to return to Tottenham but, at 5/1, he is not the favourite to succeed Antonio Conte who left eight days ago (although it feels like a lot longer in the light of more recent upheavals).

Brendan Rodgers claps 1280.jpg

Rodgers is 13/8 to be in charge of Spurs on the first day of next season. His Leicester reign, which began in 2019, has ended miserably but it was a successful one that involved winning the FA Cup and taking the club deep in European club competition.

At only 50, Rodgers will be back and it could well be at a club with more resources than Leicester.

Potter evens to make swift return at Foxes

Potter is the favourite to take over at the Foxes. His six months at Chelsea have been bruising but, although he leaves them 11th in the Premier League and 250.00249/1 to finish in the top four, most people will appreciate that he took charge at an uncertain time for the club under its new owners.

The Englishman may want to get straight back into management and the Leicester job could be ideal.

If he decides he wants time away from the game then Rafa Benitez 5/1 and Blackburn Rovers' Jon Dahl Tomasson could be in the frame for the Foxes 11/2.

Brentford's Thomas Frank is 7/1 and ex-Leeds manager Marcelo Bielsa can be backed at 10/1.

If you fancy Leicester to go for a Celtic manager again (Rodgers was at Parkhead before he came south to the Premier Leagueb club) then Ange Postecoglou is an interesting candidate at 10/1.
