Manchester City v Burnley

Tuesday's Bet Builder turned out to be a total car-crash of a bet and in a bid to repair the damage I'm going to try to grab back the loss by combining two odds-on shots at the Etihad.
First up, let's back City to win this comfortably; to be more specific, by at least three clear goals.
Their record against Burnley is outstanding with City winning the last 12 meetings by an aggregate score of 43-1.
That includes a 3-0 victory at Turf Moor on the opening day of this season, while if you focus in solely on games at the Etihad, the six scorelines in that sequence have been 6-0, 2-0, 5-0, 5-0, 5-0 and 5-0.
Of course, the past doesn't necessarily show us the future but it's not difficult to envisage Burnley turning up here with some scar tissue and even those who haven't previously visited will have had the above information ringing in their ears via various media in recent days.
Burnley have also lost to Spurs, Chelsea and Brentford by the required margin this season, sit second bottom and only Sheffield United have conceded more goals.
City, in contrast, appear to be once again clicking into gear just as the title race hots up - they've won their last seven in all competitions, despite the absence of top scorer Erling Haaland.
He could actually return here, albeit a bench role looks more likely, while there should be a first start since the reverse fixture in August for Kevin de Bruyne. Goals suddenly look even more likely.
I'm happy to back City (-2) on the handicap and will combine it with a bet that has delivered time and again of late, namely Bernardo Silva to have a shot on target.
The Portuguese has helped City put Haaland's injury to one side with some strong displays and he's managed to land the 1+ SOT bet in nine of his last 10 starts.
Maybe the team dynamic changes if Haaland earns an immediate recall but, as already suggested, an introduction from the bench seems more likely given how the kid gloves have been on for De Bruyne's return.
The double pays around 2/13.00 which hopefully can get us back on track.
