Vitesse players celebrate
We hope Vitesse will be doing this when the full-time whistle sounds

"Vitesse have won four of their last five competitive matches, while Twente haven't won at home since October."

We're staying in the Netherlands, and Kev's backing Champions League-chasing Vitesse to win at struggling Twente.

Hosts' poor form to continue

Twente v Vitesse
Saturday 03 April, 19:00

Football can be a bewildering game sometimes. Roda JC had seen 12 games in a row feature at least three goals, and they had scored 17 goals in their last six away games, but they somehow drew 0-0 at Go Ahead Eagles last night, leaving us well short of what we needed.

We'll stay in the Netherlands, but we'll move up a level to the Eredivisie. Vitesse are pushing for Europe as they visit out-of-form Twente, and there's scope to back the visitors with a bit of insurance.

Arnhem-based Vitesse are only three points behind second-placed PSV, and they have racked up 16 wins in their 27 league games. A range of players have chipped in with goals, and an aggressive approach (Vitesse have picked up the most yellow cards in the league) has contributed to a strong defensive record. Vitesse have leaked just 27 goals in 27 top-flight outings, one of the lowest tallies in the top flight.

Vitesse are on form, with four wins from their last five competitive matches.
On the road they are a little inconsistent, with three wins and three defeats from the last six on their travels. Their last away win was impressive, as they secured a 3-1 victory at Utrecht.

Twente haven't won at home since October, and since that victory they have drawn four and lost five at De Grolsch Veste. Overall, Ron Jans' side has picked up just one victory in the last 12 league games, and although that win was against today's opponents Vitesse, it's hard to get excited about backing the hosts.

Vitesse are 15 points ahead of Twente in the standings, and have been demonstrably the better side this season. I'll back them Draw No Bet here at 1.9110/11.
