Football Bet of the Day: Viking to go on the rampage

The goals dried up in Spain last night, as Real Sociedad were held to a 0-0 draw by Girona. We're hoping there's a deluge on the way in northern Europe this evening.

Nine of Aalesunds' last 12 Norwegian 1 Division home games have delivered Over 2.5 Goals. With three rounds of the season to go after this one, Lars Bohinen's men are second in the table. They can go top with a win over third-placed Viking this evening. The hosts have scored twice or more in 8/12 at Color Line Stadion.

But Viking will not lie down. A win for them would lift them to within a couple of points of the summit. The league's highest scorers are averaging two goals a game on the road (26 in 13 matches). Home and away, they've scored at least twice in 13/14. On the road, however, they're also nine games without a clean sheet. The last seven of those matches have all produced Over 2.5 Goals and we fancy this one to get over the line as well.
