The Europa League qualifiers continue, and Kev's checking in with one of Europe's most in-form sides.
"Bodo have won 15 of their 17 league games, they won 6-1 in the previous round, and they have won their last ten home matches in all competitions."
No stopping Bodo
Bodo Glimt v Zalgiris
Thursday 17 September, 17:00
Brest wasn't best last night, as Belarusian champions Dinamo slipped to a 1-0 defeat at Maccabi Tel Aviv that nixed our BTTS bet. We'll take our first setback of the week on the chin and move on.
We'll swap the Champions League for the Europa League tonight, because Norwegian sensations Bodo Glimt are in action against Lithuanian side Zalgiris, and there's every reason to think the visitors will be the latest victims of the yellow juggernaut.
Bodo Glimt have never won the Norwegian Eliteserien, but they are producing an extraordinary campaign. They have won 15 of their 17 league matches, they are already 13 points clear at the top, and they have scored 62 goals.
If you look at Bodo's home record, it beggars belief. They have won ten competitive games in a row at the Aspmyra Stadion, have scored 42 goals and have conceded just eight. They have scored the first goal in seven of those ten victories, and have led at half time in seven of them. An Over 3.5 Goals bet has landed in seven of those outings too.
Zalgiris are used to winning domestically, but this is a big step up against a team that is playing extraordinary football. I'll back Bodo Glimt to score the first goal, to be ahead at half time and for there to be at least four goals in the game at combined odds of 2.26 on the Same Game Multi.
