EFL League One & League Two Tips: Go for goals with 7/1 and 9/1 trebles

• The Gas continue to impress

• Wrexham to deliver on the goal front

• Oppose Col U at home this weekend

League One

Leg 1: Back BTTS Bolton v Wigan

League One leaders Bolton are staking a good early claim for the title with a perfect three-from-three start and nine points, and there's little reason to deviate from them on Saturday for the early 12:30 kick-off entertaining Wigan.

Ian Evatt's side have impressed so far, winning both of their home games 3-0 against Lincoln and 3-1 against Fleetwood and even won with 10 men against the Cod Army thanks to a hat-trick from Victor Adeboyejo - whose always had a good goal ratio.

He was clinical with his finishing and Bolton have been fast starters in their games this term - scoring early in all three of their league matches.

They've got a 1.31 xG at the moment and Wigan will be no pushover here considering they've picked up four points from two away games - and one of those was a victory at Derby.

Bolton are a short price, but it might be wiser to play the BTTS at 4/51.80.

Leg 2: Back the Draw Cambridge and Bristol Rovers

Cambridge let the side down in midweek with their first loss of the season, but they are just about the right price at 13/82.63 for the home win against Rovers on Saturday, but the Gas have started well, and the draw could be the booster price here in a potentially close game, and the 90 Minute Pay Out price of 7/42.75 looks a runner.

Rovers are five points from three games and have two 1-1 draws against decent sides so far and bagged a 98th minute winner at Charlton on Tuesday to earn three points. That was an open game as the Gas created plenty of chances, and considering they've scored in every game so far, they are a dangerous opponent.

This will be a clash of styles, as Cambridge are far more direct, but we can have the insurance of the 90 minute payout and go for the 7/42.75 draw.

Leg 3: Back Under 2.5 Goals Charlton v Port Vale

Charlton may have lost out in midweek but they've a good chance to bounce back on Saturday back at the Valley with Port Vale in town.

Vale were hammered on the road in the opening day of the season at Barnsley - and were thumped 7-0, although since then, Andy Crosby has tightened them up with two games Under 2.5 Goals, including Tuesday's 0-0 at Blackpool.

Dean Holden is having to fight in the face of a bit of an injury crisis, but the Addicks do have the game-changers here, in particular striker Alfie May, the summer signing from Cheltenham.

May has failed to score thus far, but he hit the woodwork in midweek and should be opening his account soon. May clearly needs a bit of support up front as he's been isolated for long periods in games and hardly had a touch against Peterborough.

While Charlton are slightly thin in terms of squad numbers, Vale lost 13 times on the road last term and are hardly bet material. Charlton can often flatter to deceive so I'll with the Under 2.5 Goals here, as Vale earned a clean sheet at Blackpool.

League Two

Leg 1: Back Over 2.5 Goals Wrexham v Swindon

Four points from three games is not the return backers of Wrexham for the title were expecting, and save for the 0-0 draw in the League Cup, the BTTS backers have hit the target in all three bets involving the Hollywood club thus far.

It could be the sort of game for another Over 3.5 and Over 4.5 pick as Wrexham have been involved in a flurry of goals with 3-5 and 4-2.

They absolutely blitzed Walsall in midweek with four different goalscorers and Parky has seen a big improvement since the opening day shock to the MK Dons. Their passing was ever so crisp on Tuesday and they looked far sharper with 11 shots created and a good balance to the team.

The xG so far for the Reds at home is a massive 2.22 while the xA is a little over 1.40. Considering Wrexham are always going to be short, and are 1/21.50 for the home win, we can get a better 4/61.67 on the Over 2.5 Goals.

Leg 2: Back Over 3.5 Goals Crewe v Walsall

Another team registering some impressive xG and xA numbers is Crewe, who are anything but moribund at the moment with their three League Two games throwing up plenty of goals.

A pair of 2-2 wins and a 4-2 success in midweek makes them the bet of the weekend in terms of an Overs punt and they are more a possession-based team at home as they played counter-attack on the road recently.

Crewe's xA of 2.02 at home leaves them vulnerable here, and last term they scored 32 and and conceded 26 on terra firma. Mat Sadler's Walsall are equally exciting on the goals front and have conceded six in two away.

Leg 3: Back MK Dons to beat Colchester

A good solid start from the MK Dons this term has seen them average two points a game thus far, and the appointment of Graham Alexander is just what the club needed.

There's a chance the 3-5 win at Wrexham will make them a false price, and they couldn't justify the odds in midweek with a defeat at Crawley on Tuesday.

Crawley were described as rampant by the MK local press, and it was the worse performance by far in the light tenue of Alexander. They were completely over-run.

However, Colchester are bottom and have lost twice, and I am not a fan of their manager Ben Garner, who is overrated in my view.

The Dons might play counter here and Mo Eisa has three goals so far for the Dons is the dangerman, but Alexander will have a poser here to keep with the three at the back or go four, as they were under so much pressure against Crawley.
