The Daily Acca: Real Madrid to kick off this 11/2 treble

Real Madrid manager - Carlo Ancelotti
Carlo Ancelotti has seen and done it all

The Champions League Final plays a part in Paul Robinson's Daily Acca, with his 11/26.50 treble finishing off in Brazil.

  • Rely on Real at Wembley

  • Internacional to pick up an away win

  • No clean sheets at the Maracanã

Leg 1 Real Madrid (90mins) @ 8/151.53 (20:00)

The showpiece of club football takes place at Wembley tonight, and it's hard to see Real Madrid not adding a 15th Champions League to their already glittering trophy cabinet.

Carlo Ancelotti already has four of his own on his CV, and the 64 year old Italian knows how to get a team to perform in the big matches.

Real have already seen off German opposition in the knockout stage, as RB Leipzig were beaten in the last 16 and Bayern in the semis. A quarter-final success over current holders, Manchester City, was sandwiched in-between. They have since gone on to win La Liga by 10 points.

Dortmund didn't really perform to their best of their abilities in the Bundesliga, eventually finishing fifth, but it has been a different story in this competition.

Edin Terzić's second spell as manager has seen them top a Champions League group that contained PSG, AC Milan and Newcastle, and then go on to beat PSV, Atletico Madrid and PSG again in the knockout rounds.

Of course anything can happen in a one-off match, but the facts are that Real Madrid are the better team, they have the better players, they have the better manager, and crucially, they have the pedigree in the big matches.

Leg 2 Internacional (90mins) @ 13/102.30 (22:30)

The Brazilian Serie A season is now a few weeks old, and given the respective starts of both teams, the 13/102.30 for Internacional to win at Cuiaba is pretty decent.

The visitors have taken seven points from their opening four games, and that includes an away win at champions, Palmeiras. Eduardo Coudet led them to a ninth placed finish last term, and he will be hopeful of better this year.

The hosts were promoted from Serie B, and while they have been performing in the Copa Sudamericana, it's been four defeats from four in the league. Even more concerning, they conceded 10 goals during that period and scored none.

Leg 3 BTTS in Fluminense v Juventude @ 9/10 (22:30)

Another team that are newly promoted to the Brazilian top flight are Juventude, but they have done better than Cuiaba, taking five points from their opening four fixtures.

Fluminense have the same points total, but it has come from two matches more, however they go into tonight on the back of three straight wins in all competitions.

I am expecting goals for both sides at the famous Maracanã Stadium tonight, with this selection landing in three of the visitors' four league games - including both away ones. The hosts have had all three of their home matches finish with both teams scoring, and six out of seven here if we include the cups as well.
