Another trio of hot handlers.
Miss Rebecca Curtis hasn't sent out a great deal of runners of late, but those she has run have gone well. Of her five recent runners, two have won and two have finished runner-up. She runs three today, which are in the last three races at Hereford and it would come as no surprise if they were to go close. Of the trio, recent winner Black Jack Blues looks to be her strongest chance, whilst Mango Catcher almost looks an each-way 'bet to nothing', given his recent string of consistent efforts.
Martin Keighley has his string in fantastic form at present. He is currently operating at a 50% strike-rate (3-6), of his other three recent runners, all three have placed. He sends out three runners today, with Ponchartrain looking to have the strongest chance (4.40 Hereford). Slightly further away, recent winner Wolf Moon is entered at Uttoxeter on Saturday and would have every chance if lining up.
Michael Jarvis has started the Flat season very well and there's no reason to believe that he won't continue in good heart. The Newmarket handler is currently operating at a 26% strike-rate (6-23), with the majority of his other runners performing with credit. Today, Jarvis saddles two runners, Today's The Day and King of Defence, the latter looking the more likely winner (4.30 Folkestone).
