15:30, Chepstow - Cayman can Tai rivals up in knots

Though he's been a bit frustrating in the past, Cayman Tai ran up to his best when recording a first handicap success in clear-cut style at Southwell last week.

Ridden once more by the promising apprentice Seamus Cronin, the experienced four-year-old looks to hold leading claims under a penalty; he's 7 lb clear of So Smart on Timeform's weight-adjusted ratings.

He likes to be held up and should get this race run to suit as In The City, Over Spiced and So Smart all like to get on with things.

17:10, Chepstow - Strong pace set to suit

The Timeform pace prediction for this competitive seven-furlong handicap is 'strong' which should suit Ajrad.

Though his three course victories have come over a mile, the eight-year-old also has four wins over seven furlongs to his name so shouldn't have any problem with the trip here, and his strong-travelling style should be suited by the make-up of this race.

He's now 3lb below his last winning mark and is fancied to take advantage.

17:15, Carlisle - Army fancied to take charge

Emerald Army has made a good start to life with Ruth Carr and signalled he is ready to strike when runner-up at Catterick last week.

The former Declan Carroll inmate has become well handicapped and benefited from the step back up in trip on his latest start, the only one to get involved from the rear - which tends to be hard to do at Catterick - and beaten only by a well-in stablemate.

He gets the nod over fellow Horse In Focus Jet Warrior who got off the mark in convincing fashion returned to turf/back down in trip at Ayr last week.
