15:15, Beverley - Thirsk third Rajapour to gain overdue success

With the Timeform 'Horse In Focus' and 'Sectional' flags to his name, recent Thirsk third Rajapour might need to get the breaks from a draw near the rail, but he looks in the form to win again.

David O'Meara hasn't enjoyed the best of times of late, but there was more promise from the run of Spoken Truth in the Zetland Cup on Monday, and this six-year-old is 4lb clear on Timeform's weight-adjusted ratings.

Having been successful off 1lb higher in December, he is fancied to pick up the prominent racers Coolree, Miss Willows, In A Hurry and This Farh late in the piece.

15:45, Beverley - Hat-trick on the cards for thriving Hibernate

Despite a further 6 lb rise, the thriving Hibernate - another Timeform 'Horse In Focus' - is taken to complete a hat-trick following comprehensive wins at Yarmouth and Bath.

The Ed Dunlop-trained four-year-old has taken his form up a notch this spring, with fast ground appearing key to his improvement over middle distances.

Aside from Kitsune Power, there don't appear to be many rivals for the lead and he could get an easy time at the head of affairs.

The biggest danger could be top-weight Titian who won first time out (from an 8 lb higher mark) the last occasion he had a break and wind surgery.

19:08, Cartmel - Top-rated Sea The Clouds to strike for local trainer

Top-rated Sea The Clouds should be spot on for this after a run at Haydock last month and can take advantage of a mark 4lb lower than the one he defied over fences here last summer.

Jimmy Moffatt is one of the best at getting his horses primed to strike at his local venue - he won this race four times in five years between 2017 and 2022 - and his nine-year-old caught the eye of the Timeform race reporters when tiring late on earlier this month.

The mount of useful 10lb claimer Leah Noreci drops in class here and is fancied to secure a third course success.
