Nine go to post for this open-looking handicap over seven furlongs. Kingaroo can become the fourth next time out winner from the race he finished second in last time. Arachnophobia and Noodles Blue Boy are two who are likely to improve for the step up in trip and can fight out the minor honours.

Peking Prince: Cost next to nothing as a yearling but looked bargain buy regardless when making winning debut over 5.7f at Bath last summer. Should do better but 7f not sure to suit.

Forward Feline: Didn't win a race last year but was consistent in the main and often impressed with her speed. Not sure 7f will be up her street, therefore, and needs to improve regardless to defy her mark.

Suruor: Form of maiden win over 6f last summer didn't work out and left Mark Johnston's fairly cheaply following third off this mark in 7f nursery final start. Others make more appeal.

Noodles Blue Boy: Handicapper had his say having finished second in minor event following debut success last summer. Some encouragement on return, though, looking ready for step up to this trip, and not out of it.

Common Diva: Has won three times over 8.6f here this year, her latest success coming in claimer. Not sure to appreciate drop in trip here, though, and looks vulnerable off this mark.

Arachnophobia: Much improved to win 6f nursery final start last year and new mark not beyond him judged on good third here on reappearance. 7f should be right up his street and looks set to give a good account.

One Cool Kitty: Never looked the most straightforward last year but does stay the trip having won nursery off mark of 66. Bred to appreciate switch to artificial surface and seems one of the likelier types.

Harty Boy: Hasn't gone on from first two efforts when fourth in maidens over 1m and left Michael Bell prior to considerately-ridden sixth here last time. Plenty to prove in handicaps.

Kingaroo: In frame all four starts since winning 7f nursery at Southwell before Christmas, improving when second and clear of remainder there last time. That race has worked out well and he can go close.
