Timeform take a close look at three horses who have caught the eye of late...

Music Show looked an exciting prospect when pulling clear to win a five-furlong Novice at Bath on Saturday. The Mick Channon-trained filly stepped up on her course-and-distance maiden win in August, landing the odds by three-and-a-quarter lengths from Ramamara. Music Show was held up after a slowish start and quickened impressively to assert in a short space of time, all under hands and heels. Whether she's ready for Group 1s (has entry in Cheveley Park Stakes) just yet remains to be seen, but she's clearly a smart prospect and her pedigree suggests she'll stay at least seven furlongs.

Strawberrydaiquiri justified strong market support when recording her third win in listed company in the Atlanta Stakes at Sandown on Saturday. The Sir Michael Stoute-trained filly produced a career-best performance, finding plenty once in front and going away from Ada River to win by four and a half lengths. Strawberrydaiquiri should go on improving and is capable of winning at Group level, with the Sun Chariot Stakes an option, although she is likely to be given a short break after her most recent success.

Also at Sandown on Saturday, Blue Jack caught the eye when winning a useful and competitive five-furlong handicap. The four-year-old has progressed impressively since blinkered, winning four of his last six starts, and was value for more than his one-length margin, having the race well won a furlong out after travelling strongly. His recent form has been over five furlongs, although he's likely to be as effective at six. Blue Jack is worth a place in one of the top sprint handicaps after this, the Portland or Ayr Gold Cup possible targets.
