Gordon has a trio of horses in action at Leopardstown on Sunday
"His Excellency is certainly capable of a big run."
The enforced absence of Jessies Dream from the Hennessy Gold Cup is a real blow to the Gordon Elliott stable but they still harbour hope of picking up a Grade 1 race at Leopardstown this afternoon. Read his exclusive thoughts on all his runners below.

He's a very nice horse and I was delighted with him when he won his maiden hurdle at Punchestown on New Year's Eve. The form of the race has worked out really well and we're looking forward to this race to find out where we go with him for the rest of the year. He's come on since that win and we couldn't be happier with him. Davy Condon takes over from Paul Carberry and we're hoping he can go very close. We'll know where we stand with him after today's race.

He has plenty of jumping experience and he finally got his first victory over hurdles when winning the Grade 2 at Leopardstown on St Stephen's Day. He's a bit of a monkey but he's not short of ability and, like Shadow Catcher, he's in very good form at home. Davy (Russell) knows how to ride him and will probably try and deliver him late again. He's certainly capable of a big run.

He runs in a very competitive handicap hurdle but he's got a handy weight, with Danny (Benson) taking seven pounds off him. We stepped him up to two and a half miles the last day but Davy (Russell) felt he didn't stay and so we're dropping back to two miles again. He's been in good form since that race and he looks to have good each-way claims.
