Reds touch [110.0] in amazing comeback at Anfield. Joe Dyer rounds up the Premier League action on Betfair today.
Liverpool looked like putting in one of their anaemic home specials before securing a highly unlikely win in the Premier League today.
The Reds touched [110.0] on Betfair to win when trailing Middlesbrough 1-0 late in the game at Anfield. But they came back to win with goals in the 86th and 94th minutes from home boys Jamie Carragher and Steven Gerrard. Over 2.5 goals was matched at [22.0] and the Boro win at [1.4].
It was a good day for the new recruits to the Premiership as Stoke pulled off a dramatic late win and Hull bagged a draw against the odds.
Stoke twice had the lead against Aston Villa and took all three points with a last gasp winner. The home side's in-running odds had just taken off when Mamady Sidibe scored the famous goal. The Potters were matched at a high of [30.0] on the exchange (with £1 matched at [85.0]). More than 4.5 goals was backed at [32.0].
Blackburn Rovers were the home bankers for plenty of Betfair customers and touched [1.26] when leading at home to Hull. Unfortunately, for them and their backers, a 38th minute opener was swiftly cancelled out and the game finished up 1-1.
Elsewhere, Fulham were backed at a high of [9.8] on Betfair when beating Arsenal 1-0 at Craven Cottage tonight.
The 1-0 scoreline was backed at [25.0] on the exchange, although one punter managed to get £2 matched at [70.0]
There was another upset at White Hart Lane where Spurs were matched at [1.52] to beat Sunderland. The Londoners, fancied by some for a strong league bid, lost 2-1, a scoreline that was backed at [48.0].
Tottenham are in to [55.0] to be relegated and out to [120.0] to win the Premier League.
