Saturday 4 July 18:00 - Canada v Morocco

Excluding finals and play-off matches for third place, Morocco have progressed from six of their last eight knockout stage ties at major tournaments (World Cup/AFCON), advancing via a penalty shootout in three of those. The Atlas Lions have faced eight penalties in FIFA World Cup shootouts and only two have been scored.

Saturday 4 July 22:00 - Paraguay v France

Michael Olise's five assists for France at this year's FIFA World Cup are the most by a player in a single edition since Thomas Häßler for Germany in 1994. Indeed, only Brazil's Pelé has more on record (from 1966) at a single World Cup tournament (6 in 1970).

Sunday 5 July 21:00 - Brazil v Norway

Norway's Erling Haaland could become just the eighth European player to score in each of his first four FIFA World Cup appearances, and first since Christian Vieiri for Italy in 1998. Haaland has scored in each of his last 13 competitive internationals overall, netting 25 goals in this run.

Monday 6 July 01:00 - Mexico v England

Harry Kane has scored four headed goals for England at the FIFA World Cup, with three of those coming so far at this year's tournament. Only Miroslav Klose (7) and Gerd Müller (5) have netted more headers at the competition on record than Kane (since 1966).

Monday 6 July 20:00 - Portugal v Spain

Spain have opened up a FIFA World Cup tournament without conceding in any of their first four matches for the first time, the first European nation to do so since Switzerland in 2006; having also drawn 0-0 in their final game in 2022, the Spaniards could be the first team in World Cup history to record six successive clean sheets.

Tuesday 7 July 01:00 - USA v Belgium

USA have scored 2+ goals in all four of their 2026 FIFA World Cup matches - they are the first ever non-European or South American nation to score multiple goals in four consecutive games at the finals. The only previous host nation to score at least twice in each of their first five matches of a World Cup were Brazil in 1950.
