Hurricane Fly is a record-breaking racehorse who has won 18 Grade One races during his career to date.

He has twice been successful in the Champion Hurdle at the Cheltenham Festival, which is thought to be the leading hurdle race on the national hunt calendar.
The bay gelding is a son of Montjeu and Scandisk and was bred in France by Agricola Del Parco.
He started his career in France, where he made his debut at the age of two in a flat race over six furlongs at La teste de buch.
Hurricane Fly went on to have nine further outings on the flat, winning twice. He then moved to Ireland to join Willie Mullins' stable for a campaign over obstacles.
His opening run in Ireland was at Punchestown in a maiden hurdle, which he prevailed in by 12 lengths. Stable jockey Ruby Walsh was on board as they came home at odds of 9/10.
The horse did return to France for a couple of hurdle races at Auteuil, including the Grade One Prix Alain De Breil where he finished second by Grivette.
Mullins' runner started his run of Grade One wins at Fairyhouse on November 30, 2008 in the Royal Bond Novice Hurdle. He just managed to see off Donnas Palm by a neck to score in the highest company.
He finished his first campaign off over hurdles by winning at the Punchestown Festival in the Champion Novice Hurdle.
Hurricane Fly's 2009/2010 campaign was hit by injury as he was only able to appear on a racehorse in competitive action twice. That included another victory at the Punchestown Festival, this time in the Champion Hurdle.
In the 2010/2011 season he won all four of his racecourse starts, including the Champion Hurdle at the Cheltenham Festival, which was his first visit to the meeting at Prestbury Park.
He returned in 2012 for a defence of his title in which he went off at 4/6 but could only come home third as Rock on Ruby won the race with Overturn in second.
The Irish star was able to regain his crown in 2013, though, matching Comedy of Errors as only the second horse in history to do so.
In the Morgiana Hurdle at Punchestown on November 17, 2013, he became the first horse anywhere in the world to win 17 Grade One races. He did that by beating Marito by just over a length.
