Salisbury, 15:00 - Back Golden Brown @ 4/15.00

Ed Walker-trained Golden Brown still remains relatively unexposed in handicap company from a mark of 83, and did put in a creditable effort when eight of 22 runners in a competitive York handicap in June.

He had previously landed his maiden over course-and-distance in the spring, following on from a number of good runs as a juvenile last term which included a fourth to Ardisia at Goodwood and a second-placed finish to the same rival in a Listed Redcar contest.

The promising gelding could still be well-treated from his current mark and is open to further improvement. He has gained some valuable experience to date and could resume his progress here under Rob Hornby.

Gowran Park, 15:22 - Back Indigo Dream @ 6/17.00

Four-year-old filly Indigo Dream makes appeal from a mark of 80 under Shane Foley as she's lower rated than when making the frame in tough company in races won by Stateira earlier this year, and 3lb lower than when chasing home Keke in a 12-runner Naas handicap in the spring.

Whilst she has failed to add to her comfortable maiden success at Dundalk last December, the daughter of Havana Grey has been competitive in handicap company since and could give a good account of herself in this contest.

Trained by Ross O'Sullivan, who saddled a winner on Monday evening, Indigo Dream could be worth keeping onside and this may be a feasible opportunity for her to return to the winners' enclosure.

Bet of the day: Salisbury, 15:30 - Back Rafe's Da Man @ 9/25.50

Rafe's Da Man had caught the eye in maiden and novice company previously before getting off the mark in a competitive Goodwood maiden at odds of 12/113.00 recently. He won by a length-and-a-quarter when last seen, but still raced with greenness and showed inexperience.

There should be plenty of further improvement to come from the progressive son of Ghaiyyath, who has already shown to possess raw ability. He's a good-looking chestnut and could make a successful step into Stakes company by landing Listed honours at the first attempt.

With each run, the Richard Hannon-trained colt has shown improvement, therefore he should be capable of taking another step forward and already has experience at the track which should further help his cause.

Beverley, 15:45 - Back Glenfinnan E/W @ 13/27.50

Course-and-distance winner Glenfinnan is back on his last winning mark of 78 as he returns to the scene of his latest win for Michael Dods.

The likeable six-year-old gelding has run well twice at this track this term, winning once as well as finishing a length second from a 1lb higher mark here in his penultimate start, beaten only by Highland Olly on that occasion.

Glenfinnan has course form in his favour and is well-treated at the weights having won from a much higher rating in the past. Over a trip that suits, he should put in a bold bid and warrants consideration.

Gowran Park, 15:52 - Back Minerva @ 4/15.00

In this extended 1m1f Listed contest, Minerva holds solid claims for Aidan O'Brien and Wayne Lordan if she can take a step forward from her return to action during the spring and match the level shown on occasion during her juvenile campaign last term.

She's entitled to improve for her first run of the season when returning from a 189-day break at Navan in April, and, although she must defy a 109-day absence here, could fare better than when seen in a Group Three won by subsequent Oaks winner Thundering On on that occasion.

The three-year-old filly by Frankel, who fetched 1,500,000gns as a yearling, is out of dual Group Two winner Prize Exhibit, a sister to Mohaather. Her half-sister History won a Group Three over a mile as a three-year-old and this filly, who has already placed in Stakes company, could achieve a black-type success of her own this season for team Ballydoyle.

Gowran Park, 15:52 - Back Subsonic E/W @ 25/126.00

Johnny Murtagh-trained Subsonic is one to note each-way under Ben Coen on the best of her form. She placed at Listed level earlier this season over course-and-distance when outrunning odds of 33/134.00, beaten only by impressive winner Sindria and runner-up Lemsairbat, when finishing ahead of odds-on favourite Faiyum.

As a juvenile, the daughter of Lope De Vega was only narrowly denied on debut by Minnie Hauk, and went on to shed her maiden tag the following term in a Curragh contest.

Further improvement is required but she's yet to be fully exposed and there could be more to come from her as she bids to bounce back from a disappointing effort when last seen.

Ffos Las, 16:07 - Back The Coffee Pod @ 2/13.00

Dropping in class from a lenient mark of 62, rated 13lb lower than his previous handicap win with 3lb claiming Ryan Kavanagh in the saddle, top weight The Coffee Pod could return to winning ways as he bids for a third career success in this 5f sprint.

The William Muir and Chris Grassick-trained contender went close over 6f here in his latest run, beaten only three-quarters-of-a-length when third to winner Safari Dream, and is in calmer waters this time around, capable of posing a dangerous threat. He could prove worth keeping onside and should be able to make his presence felt.
