After England finished their World Cup preparations with a friendly win over Costa Rica we bring you the Betfair prices to reveal who will start for the Three Lions against Croatia next Wednesday...

Who will start for England against Croatia?

The friendlies are out of the way and all England players have to do now is train, have a look at the other teams and not die of boredom in the six days before their World Cup Group L opener against Croatia.

For the rest of us, there will be frenzied debate about who Thomas Tuchel should pick in his starting 11, the chance to cheer on Scotland in the early hours of Sunday and, of course, England previews galore to enjoy.

Some players are a shoo-in to make Tuchel's team and only injury could prevent them from taking their place in the starting 11. But there is uncertainty around at least one berth.

Anthony Gordon scored and assisted in England's 3-0 win over Costa Rica on Thursday but is odds-against to make the starting 11 next Wednesday.

Bukayo Saka missed the match after Tuchel said the Arsenal man had still not recovered fully from his achilles injury. Find out what price he is to start against Croatia.

Here is Tuchel's starting 11 as predicted by the Betfair odds.

Goalkeeper

Jordan Pickford 1/1001.01

England's number one for a third consecutive World Cup, who often produces his best performances in tournaments, is a certain starter.

Defenders

Reece James 1/41.25

The Chelsea man didn't start the NZ friendly but began at right-back against Costa Rica and is England's best option there.

Nico O'Reilly 1/251.04

An impressive season with Manchester City has seen O'Reilly claim the left-back spot for England.

John Stones 8/111.73

The 32-year-old started both friendlies in the US and, with Tuchel a fan, the experienced centre-back should get the nod over younger squadmates.

Ezri Konsa 4/61.67

After finishing against New Zealand and starting against Costa Rica, Aston Villa's cool, calm Konsa is in line to start against Croatia.

Midfielders

Declan Rice @ 1/1001.01

The indominatable Arsenal man will be one of England's leaders at the World Cup and at least one of our experts' is backing him for assists.

Elliot Anderson 1/181.06

Arguably the find of the Tuchel era, the Nottingham Forest man is currently the subject of a bidding war between Man City and Man Utd, but his focus will be firmly on the World Cup where he can play a big part for England.

Morgan Rogers @ 3/101.30

This is one of the big market calls. Jude Bellingham 4/61.67 wore the captain's armband, when Harry Kane went off, recently but was that a sign of the Madrid man's importance or Tuchel's way of softening him up for disappointment? The Betfair odds indicate Villa's Rogers will start ahead of Bellingham.

Forwards

Harry Kane 1/1001.01

England's captain, talisman, world class star, and former Golden Boot winner, who should be a contender again. Barring disaster, Kane will start.

Bukayo Saka @ 1/141.07

Doubts about the Arsenal winger's fitness persist but he came on for half-an-hour against Costa Rice and the market says he will play over Noni Madueke 4/15.00.

Marcus Rashford @ 4/91.44

Rashford was probably England's best player against New Zealand but the same can be said of Anthony Gordon 11/102.11 against Costa Rica. The pair are competing for the left-side of the attack berth in a taste of things to come perhaps at Barcelona next season. The market says Rashford gets it for England against Croatia.
