Maddison signs for Spurs

England international James Maddison has signed for Spurs, penning a 5-year-contract at the club.

Maddison joins from relegated Leicester, a club in which he has been with since 2018. However, following the Foxes dropping to the Championship, he was always going to be on the move.

It was widely reported Newcastle were big admirers of the attacking midfielder, and despite the Magpies being able to offer Champions League football, Maddison has opted for north London.
