Betting suspended on Mason Mount move

Betfair have suspended betting on Mason Mount's move to Manchester United after reports emerged in the last few moments that a deal had finally been agreed with Chelsea.

It has been no secret that Mount was looking to move away from Chelsea despite his long running association with the club, with Man Utd primed to take the young England midfielder.

Mount was 4/61.67 to stay at Chelsea on Sunday with rumours Man Utd were looking to pull out of a deal.

Contract will be valid until June 2028, five year deal agreed weeks ago.

However, a medical has now been penciled in for this weekend with a £60m deal reported to have been agreed on Thursday.

Chelsea, meanwhile, are 1/51.20 to sign Moises Caicedo with talks set to have opened with Brighton, whilst current midfielder Conor Gallagher is 9/43.25 to move in the other direction.
