Tobias Gourlay starts the week in Italy where defences could be overrun at Stadio Pier Luigi Penzo
Venezia v Fiorentina
Monday 19:45
In Germany yesterday, the Bundesliga's basement battle was almost as boring as Kev hoped, but not quite. Augsburg and Arminia Bielefeld drew 1-1 to leave him short-changed after a BTTS 'No' bet.
Our week begins in Italy, where today's sole Serie A match brings eight-placed Fiorentina to second-bottom Venezia. The visitors are odds-on favourites, but we fancy Venezia can at least give them a scare this evening.
Newly back in the Italian top flight, Venezia have failed to keep a clean sheet through the first seven rounds of the campaign. Paolo Zanetti's men have scored themselves in 4/5, however, including both of their first two appearances at the Pier Luigi Penzo.
Fiorentina are in the top half of the table, but La Viola do not have a particularly strong defence. Vincenzo Italiano's men have conceded at least once in 6/7 home and away so far. They've won 4/7 of those games - including 3/4 on the road - and might well win again tonight, but we're not sure they'll be going home with a clean sheet. We'll take both teams to score.
