Bayern and Germany forward Leroy Sane
Leroy Sané is in sensational form for Bayern and Germany

It's five winners from five selections this week for Kevin Hatchard, and he hopes to keep the run going in the USA tonight.

USA v Germany

We got the goalfest we wanted in Austria last night, as Das Team slipped to a 3-2 home defeat against Belgium. The Red Devils booked their place in Euro 2024, and we maintained a perfect record so far this week.

Another team that's guaranteed a place at next summer's Euros is Germany, because they'll be the hosts, but it's been a traumatic time in the last few years for followers of Die Nationalmannschaft. Group-stage exits at the World Cups of 2018 and 2022 sandwiched an underwhelming performance at the last Euros, and the early exit in Qatar preceded a dreadful run of friendly results that ultimately cost national team boss Hansi Flick his job.

Former Leipzig and Bayern coach Julian Nagelsmann has answered the call of duty, and the 36-year-old is a genuinely exciting operator. He has focused on getting the basics across to his players - he wants to play a speedy game that relies upon good positioning with and without the ball, and he wants to play with intensity. He certainly has plenty of allies from his time at Bayern, with Leon Goretzka, Joshua Kimmich, Leroy Sané and Thomas Müller all speaking highly of their former club boss.

Germany's recent run of games have seen them look defensively vulnerable, and interestingly for our purposes nine of their last ten internationals have featured at least two goals. They haven't kept a clean sheet since a 2-0 win over Peru in March.

Opponents the USA did well at the World Cup in Qatar, qualifying for the knockout phase before losing comfortably to the Netherlands. Coach Gregg Berhalter is back after a six-month hiatus, and while he is a divisive figure in terms of how he is perceived by fans, he did solid work in Qatar. A huge row with the parents of Gio Reyna made headlines, although Berhalter now says his relationship with the Borussia Dortmund star is "moving forward".

Like Reyna, Christian Pulisic, Brenden Aaronson, Weston McKennie and Joe Scally either play or have played in the Bundesliga. Pulisic is having a whale of a time with Milan in Serie A, and most importantly the talented forward has managed to stay fit.

I'll use the Sportsbook's Bet Builder here to back Over 1.5 Goals, Over 6.5 Corners and Leroy Sané to have a shot on target at 6/5. Sané is arguably in the form of his life, having already scored nine goals for club and country this season. The former Manchester City star has had a shot on target in his last 11 appearances for Bayern and Germany, and has scored in both games for Germany this season.

Back Over 1.5 Goals, Over 6.5 Corners and Sane to have 1+ shots on target at 6/52.20
