We're kicking off our weekend in Poland, and Kev's hoping for a big Ukrainian win against Armenia.
"Ukraine were outstanding against Scotland, and they have played better than anyone had a right to expect in this international break. Armenia are a poor side, and should be outclassed here."
Back Ukraine -2.0 on the Asian Handicap at 2.0521/20

Ukraine v Armenia

Only some heroic goalkeeping and some profligate forward play prevented us from getting a winner last night, as Austria played out a highly-entertaining 1-1 draw with France. We'll switch our attention to the Polish city of Lodz, which is playing host to Ukraine's clash with Armenia.
Ukraine have acquitted themselves phenomenally well recently under the most intolerable pressure. With their homeland wrecked by Russia's invasion, the players have helped to keep that tragedy in the spotlight, but have also somehow managed to focus and play at a high standard. In the World Cup qualifiers they outplayed Scotland in a 3-1 win at Hampden Park, they were arguably the better side against Wales but were defied by a superb goalkeeping display, and in the Nations League they have won 1-0 at the Republic of Ireland despite making a number of changes to their side.
Armenia were completely outplayed by Scotland recently, and a 2-0 defeat flattered them. Their 1-0 win over the Republic was a little fortunate, and they have lost five of their last seven away matches, including a 9-0 hammering in Germany.
We can back Ukraine -2.0 on the Asian Handicap at 2.0521/20, and I think that's fair enough considering this is a big mismatch.
