University College Dublin v Sligo Rovers
Friday 23 June, 19:45
There's not a great deal for props punters to go at on Friday but a trip to Ireland could provide a spot of value.
In this game, the hosts sit rock bottom having lost 16 of 20 League of Ireland games so far, while the visitors are themselves battling to stay out of the relegation zone. They sit eighth of 10.
Scoring goals has been a problem of late for both sides but despite that, odds-against about both teams to score looks decent to me.
For a start, it's landed in both previous meetings between the sides this season - Sligo won here 3-2 back in February, while the reverse fixture saw them run out 3-1 victors.
In addition, while the hosts may be mired in a losing streak, they've scored in four of their last five, with only leaders Shamrock Rovers keeping them out during that spell.
Their big problem has been at the other end where they've conceded 3+ in each of their last six games.
So, even though Rovers have scored only twice in their last seven, it's hard to see them being kept out here, especially given the presence of Max Mata in their forward line.
The New Zealand international is the league's second top scorer, having netted nine times in 18 appearances. Three of those goals came on this very ground, while another was scored in the home game with UCD.
Mata to score at any time and both teams to score in the match is a double which pays just north of 5/2.
It's already landed in the two games between these sides this season. A third beckons.
