Aldosivi v Club Atletico Platense
Tuesday 21 June, 23:00
A limited fixture list means props opportunities are somewhat limited on Tuesday but it may pay to play the corners market in this contest.
It's one in Argentina's Primera Division and sees high-flying Platense (they could go top with a win here) taking on rock-bottom Aldosivi.
Admittedly we're only three games in - the season in Argentina began with the Copa de la Liga Profesional competition - and so it's a tad early for data trends, but it's certainly worth pointing out that Platense's games are attracting corners like a magnet.
In total, there have been 46 in their opening three matches and that number is so big it means they are actually the only team above the league average. And there are 28 teams in this division.
Some will point out that's unsustainable and you'd probably be right but it's also worth noting the corner tallies towards the end of that Copa de la Liga campaign.
Put the two competitions together and the total-corner tallies in Platense's most recent games have been: 13-17-16-13-4-17-16.
That looks a bit more like a proper trend, at least a recent one.
The visitors like to get their wide defenders, Juan Infante and Nicolas Morgantini, forward, whether that's from full-back or wing-back positions - they changed their formation to three at the back last time out.
Those two will try to get plenty of crosses into the box and look capable of winning corners.
Aldosivi's corner stats aren't anything close to those of their opponents - then again, whose are? - but they were towards the top of the corners table in this competition last season.
With over 12.5 corners hit in six of Platense's last seven at this level, taking 7/2 about it happening again looks worth a poke.
