Tuesday Football Tips: Back 4/1 goals Bet Builder for Porto v Leverkusen

Porto are already up against it in their Champions League group after two defeats as they host the first of back-to-back games against Bayer Leverkusen.

Both sides have already lost to surprise leaders Brugge, but while Porto lost to Atletico Madrid, Leverkusen enjoyed a great 2-0 win against the Spaniards so will be the more confident of the two.

They're the outsiders though on the back of a bad recent run of away form with just one win in six and four defeats in all competitions.

The German side did beat Porto 2-1 here and 3-1 at home in their Europa League games three seasons ago, and Leverkusen have also never lost to Portuguese opponents in six previous Champions League meetings.

The manner of Porto's 4-0 home defeat to Brugge will be a worry for the hosts, and although Leverkusen's record of just two away wins in 13 Champions League trips is a big negative to backing the visitors as 23/10 outsiders - I do think they're the better side.

And they do have enough creativity to trouble a Porto side that's been too open and easy to cut through - with six 'big chances' created by Brugge the joint-most a home team has faced in the competition this season.

Patrik Schick has scored three goals for Leverkusen this season, but Moussa Diaby has been the main man in Europe as he scored his 10^th European goal for Bayer against Atletico Madrid last time out.

For Porto, Iran forward Mehdi Taremi is back for this game after being suspended for the defeat against Brugge, and he brings with him a pretty decent scoring run.

Taremi has scored three goals and had two assists in his last five outings and has been directly involved in three goals in four Champions League games.

If the hosts are to get a goal, then Taremi should be involved and he's worth being included in our Bet Builder.
