"Trabzonspor are top of the table, despite failing to keep a clean sheet in any of their first five home games of the campaign"
Tobias Gourlay starts the week in Turkey, where the Super League's top team might not have everything their own way
Trabzonspor v Gaziantep FK
Monday 17:00
In Norway last night, Bodo Glimt did their bit for Kev, scoring twice in a comfortable win over Lillestrom. But the visitors let him down - their blank left him short of his goals target. He gets a fortnight to plot his revenge as we take the chair for a double shift here.
Let's start in Turkey, where Super League leaders Trabzonspor host 12th-placed Gaziantep FK this evening. The hosts are favourites, of course, but the lower-ranked visitors could cause them a problem or two.
Trabzonspor are top of the table, despite failing to keep a clean sheet in any of their first five home games of the campaign (W3-D2-L0). In fact, the Black Sea Storm have shut out their visitors in just one of their last 13 Super League appearances at Senul Gunes Stadium. Backing both teams to score has been the right thing to do in 11/13.
Gaziantep FK aren't showing such strong trends, but they are conceding very regularly on the road (14 times in six games) so there's little doubt Trabzonspor can do their bit for a BTTS bet. At the other end, GFK have found the net themselves in 3/6. At close to even money, we'll back them to score against a shaky defence today and help to deliver BTTS.
