Napoli fans should see a few shots at least

Paul Higham has picked out a couple of value plays in the shots on target market that he fancies will deliver even in a game involving Juve's league-best defence...

  • Juventus have conceded just seven goals this season, but plenty of shots

  • Osimhen has six games with multiple shots on target this season

  • Kean has hit the target in six of his last seven

  • Back a 3/1 Bet Builder double for Serie A's big clash

There's a huge game going down in Italy on Friday night as Serie A leaders Napoli host second-placed Juventus who are on a storming run of form.

The Old Lady have won eight straight games, all without conceding a single goal, and that defensive prowess has now moved them into the role of Napoli's prime opposition.

With seven points the different, Juve really need a win to make things interesting as a home win would make Napoli huge favourites to land the Scudetto.

It's a serious attack versus defence contest with Juve conceding a crazy seven goals this season as the league's best defence, while Napoli top the scoring charts with 39 goals in 17 games.

There's only been nine toal goals in Juve's eight away league games this season, but at home Napoli have scored in all eight games, with six of those seeing them score at least twice.

If pushed, I'd lean towards under 2.5 goals at 8/11, but I'm swerving that and the outcome of this huge game to look at more player prop focused legs for our Bet Builder.

As even if goals are in short supply, there's still potential for shots, as even Juve's stingy defence still allows shots and shots on target - in fact they've allowed more of both than Napoli this season

Juve also have injuries to deal with in defence so even they may struggle to keep Serie A's joint-top scorer Victor Osimhen quiet.

The Nigerian has scored 11 goals this season, but more importantly for us he has six games with multiple shots on target, including in two of the last three.

So we'll back Osimhen for 2+ shots on target at 10/11 even if he doesn't manage to score.

For Juve, considering their injuries, Moise Kean must have a decent chance of starting the game - as he has done in three of his last four appearances, and even if he has only played around an hour each time he's pretty productive with three goals from.

Kean has a shot on target in six of this last seven appearaces, with even the one game he failed coming from just a half-hour substitite appearance.

The 4/5 price on Kean having a shot on target looks a nice one considering hos effective he is, and given enough minutes you'd fancy him stringly to convert.

So even if Juve do make this into a defensive arm wrestle, there's still more than enough attacking talent on show to convert our little shots on target Bet Builder.
