Friday Football Tips: 10/1 Muriqi at the double

Vedat Muriqi is the man to focus on in Friday night's La Liga game and there's an angle that looks to offer some good value.

The 'to score and be booked' Bet Builder has become pretty popular and it's one the Mallorca striker has landed quite a bit since he arrived in Spain earlier this year.

Muriqi has scored and been carded in four of his last 14 La Liga games and the conditions for a repeat in this game look strong.

First up, we've got one of Spain's strictest referees in charge.

Isidro Diaz de Mera Escuderos topped the card charts last season, averaging 6.45 yellows per game and this season he's just behind that mark on 6.25. He's also shown three reds in his four matches thus far.

With Mallorca having received more cards than any other side so far this season (45 in 11 games), expect Escuderos to have his notebook out regularly.

Muriqi could well be one of the names taken - he's been carded in three of nine games this season, that following on from six in 16 in the competition last term.

As for the goal angle, Mallorca might not be the most prolific side but when they do score, more often than not it's Muriqi on target.

He's got five goals so far this season and easily tops their shot charts.

In this contest he'll be facing a leaky defence - only three sides have conceded more goals than Espanyol's 19.

All things considered, getting virtually 10/1 about something that's happened four times in 14 look good value and worth taking up.
