Football Bet of the Day: Watch out for leaky defences in La Liga

There was a surprise in Belgium yesterday. Kortrijk raced out to a 2-0 lead over Antwerp and held on for a 2-1 win.

Kev's got the week off and our work begins in Spain. Tonight's La Liga game brings rock-bottom Elche (W0-D1-L5) to mid-table Rayo Vallecano (W2-D1-L3). We like the odds-against price on both teams to find the back of the net.

Last season, both head-to-heads finished 2-1 to the hosts. Andoni Iraola's Rayo are odds-on favourite to win this one, but they are on a run of 12 home Liga games without a clean sheet.

Francisco's Elche have been dreadful on the road so far, losing 3/3 by a combined 10-0 - but those games were against strong top-half teams (Betis, Villarreal, Barcelona). Home and away, Rayo have conceded eight in four so we'll take them to concede again tonight and help deliver BTTS.
