Juve boss Max Allegri might have to make his own fun in Bologna tonight

Bologna can keep Juventus quiet in Serie A tonight, says Tobias Gourlay

In Spain yesterday, Eibar scored early and held on to beat Cartagena 1-0, giving us a winner to finish the old week.

We start the new one in Italy, where third are playing fourth in Serie A tonight. Bologna and Juventus are level on points going into this one, and it could be a suitably tight affair at the Renato Dall'Ara...

With Atalanta just a point behind them both, a bad result here could cost one of these teams a place in next season's Champions League. That fear could make keep everyone cagey tonight, and there's a trend on Bologna's side to support the idea that this could be a game of few goals.

So far this season, Bologna's home results against teams currently alongside them in the top 10 read: 0-2, 0-0, 1-0, 2-0, 2-0, 1-0, 2-0, 0-1. That's 8/8 with Under 2.5 Goals and 8/8 in which both teams have not scored.

Max Allegri's Juve have clammed up recently. They've won only one of their last 10 home and away in Serie A, drawing each of the last five. The Old Lady has netted just five times across her last eight league outings. On the road since the start of term, Juve's results visiting other top-10 outfits are: 0-0, 1-0, 1-0, 0-1, 1-2, 0-1, 0-0, 1-1. That's 7/8 with Under 2.5 Goals and both teams not scoring in 6/8.

Between them then, that's 15/16 low scorers in similar assignments, and backing both teams not to score has been the right thing to do in 14/16. For today's clash, we'll take the slightly longer price on 'No' in the BTTS market.
