Bayern did what we thought they would do last night, as they raced into a 4-0 lead at Viktoria Plzen before eventually winning 4-2. Sadly for us, Leroy Sané's goalscoring run ended despite a strong performance, and he smashed a fierce shot just inches wide of the far post. We move on.

We'll head to Romania, because FCSB are up against Silkeborg in the UEFA Europa Conference League, and there could be goals on the menu.

Danish side Silkeborg have been pretty sharp in attack so far in this competition, and there is still a strong chance they could end up finishing second behind West Ham in their section, so they have to go for it tonight. Last week, Silkeborg thrashed FCSB 5-0, and they have scored seven goals across their three group-stage games so far.

If you look at the last six games in all competitions for Kent Nielsen's side, five have featured at least three goals, and three of those would have seen an Over 4.5 Goals bet land. In the Danish Superliga, Silkeborg have scored the same number of goals as leaders Nordsjaelland and runners-up Randers.

FCSB were completely outplayed last week, and nine of their last 12 games in all competitions have seen an Over 2.5 Goals bet land. In the Conference League alone, five of their nine games have featured at least three goals.

There is an ongoing wrangle about whether FCSB truly is the descendant of the once-great Steaua Bucharest, but what's clear is that they are far short of those once lofty standards. Having finished second in the league last term, they are currently languishing in 12th. If you look at their 11 league games, they have featured 33 goals at an average of three per match.

I'll go for Over 2.5 Goals at 1.9210/11, not least because it's a game both sides desperately need to win.
