Football Bet of the Day: Djurgardens to deliver goals

In Germany yesterday, Union Berlin held Schalke to a 1-1 draw which means Kev gets his stake back. Our man had already locked in a profit for the week, so he can enjoy a well-earned breather as we pick up the baton in Sweden.

Malmo FF can extend their lead at the top of the 16-team Allsvenskan with a win at seventh-placed Djurgardens. They might well get the three points, but there are reasons to believe the mid-table hosts can find ways through the visiting defence.

Backing both teams to score has been the right thing to do in each of Djurgardens' last six league games at the Tele2 Arena. Most recently, the hosts went down 1-2 at Malmo's nearest rivals, second-placed Norrkoping.

The leaders are W5-D4-L2 on the road this season. They've scored in 10/11 but have been less reliable at the other end of the pitch, conceding in 8/11. Their only clean sheets have come against teams currently in the bottom four. Djurgardens are better than that and we're backing them to help land a BTTS bet this evening.
