Las Palmas fans hoping for a home win against Valencia

Paul Higham has a 6/17.00 Bet Builder where he;s not expectingt oo many goals from Valencia's trip to Gran Canaria on Saturday night.

Who wouldn't want a trip to Gran Canaria in February? Well, maybe Valencia won't relish it too much as they've lost their last three trips to face Las Palmas.

And they've also got just a point from six away games against sides in the top half so far this season, but they're in great form generally with five wins in six.

Las Palmas are doing OK considering a tough run of fixtures - they've lost two of three at home but when that's agaianst Real Madrid and Barcelona that's fully understandable.

Leg 1: Under 2.5 goals

Neither of these two are big scorers but Las Palmas in particular like to keep things tight, especially early on at home where they're the only side in Las Liga not to concede a first-half goal on their own turf.

Valencia have kept just one clean sheet away from home all season, but Las Palmas aren't exactly the type of side to go carving them open with their cautious approach.

So this looks a decent candidate for a low scorer, with under 2.5 goals priced at 4/91.44.

Leg 2: Half-time draw

The home side's approach, and Valencia knowing about their clean sheet problems on the road means a cagey opening is in store for us here.

And the half-time draw is the most popular outcome for both of these sides - that's 10 for Velncia and 11 for Las Palmas.

Half of Valencia's away games and just over half of Las Palmas games at home have been level at the break, so we'll add the half-time draw here at 5/61.84.

Leg 3: Ramirez 1+ shot on target

Sandro Ramirez was back in the shots with two on target against Granada last time out, having gone three games without.

Before that he'd been on a nice run of hitting the target in seven of eight in a disjointed season, so it looks like he's back.

The bookies also think so as he's 4/111.36 for 1+ shot on target, but as the most likelyman for the hosts we'll add him to our Bet Builder.

Leg 4: Hugo Duro 1+ shot on target

Hugo Duro is the obvious choice for Valencia as the man in form - scoring in three of his last five games, but Las Palmas at home isn't the fixture to trust him to bag another.

But with a shot on target in six of his past seven then we'll take the 8/111.73 on him to have just 1+ shot on target.

Back HT draw & under 2.5 goals, Duro and Ramirez 1+ shot on target @ 6/17.00
