Flamengo v Fluminense
Saturday 11 November, 21:30
Regular readers will know I love a proper derby rivalry and they don't come much more fearsome than the one in Rio de Janeiro.
Fla-Flu is a rivalry for the ages and it's really hit new heights on the cards front of late.
Since fans returned post-COVID lockdown, the booking points tallies have been as follows: 135, 50, 35, 70, 85, 95, 150, 105, 130, 100, 150, 90.
For the uninitiated, it's 10 points for a yellow and 25 for a red.
Eight of the last 11 meetings have now seen a player sent off so, at 15/82.88, that option immediately looks a good play.
For this particular showdown, Flamengo need a win as they battle for a top-four finish and a place in next season's Copa Libertadores. They currently sit fifth.
The South American version of the Champions League is a competition Fluminense won only last weekend and I have little doubt they'd love to prevent Flamengo getting their shot at that prize in 2024.
Likewise, Flamengo will be determined to make a point by beating the newly-crowned continental champions. In short, expect a highly-competitive game.
Admittedly, the choice of referee - Wilton Sampaio - could be better but the appointment has mattered little in this fixture in recent times.
Given the expectation of cards, it's also worth browsing the player-card market where Fluminense midfielder Andre looks the standout selection.
A player linked heavily with a move to the Premier League, Andre as been carded in 10 of his 25 Serie A games this season.
And, more importantly, he has an excellent record for cards in this derby, receiving one in eight of the 13 that he's started.
Put the two together and you get a Bet Builder which pays just under 5/16.00.
That may seem short to those used to betting on cards in the UK but they do things differently in South America, especially in Rio.
