Bayer Leverkusen came through a crazy tie against Monaco to make this stage, playing out two 3-2s before winning on penalties in the Principality.

Now they face Hungarian outfit Ferencvaros who are in the knckout stages of European competition for the first time - and who lost 2-1 here in last season's Europa League.

Xabi Alonso hopes that epic win over Monaco can kick-start Leverkusen's season, as that came after a sticky spell of four defeats in five.

A 4-1 win over Hertha Berlin was the perfect warm-up for this game, in a competition Bayer are desperate to do well in with their Bundesliga season nothing to write home about as they sit down in ninth.

But 19-year-old Florian Wirtz is bang in form after returning from his serious injury at the start of 2023 - grabbing a goal or assist in five of his last six games.

Wirtz scored in both legs against Monaco, also adding an assist, and he really shines in this competition - so he has to be backed to have a goal involvement here.

For Ferencvaros, Adama Traore has scored 18 goals this season including three goals in the Europa League - and he'll be a danger to a defence that's struggled for clean sheets this season.

Traore is a decent price at 7/2 to score a goal in Leverkusen, but for our Bet Builder we'll take the attractive 10/11 on him to have just 1+ shot on target to complete our treble.
