We asked Norway and Erling Haaland to shine last night, and that's exactly what they did, as the blonde behemoth delivered a brace in a 4-0 win away to Cyprus. That win means Norway's hopes of a top-two finish are still alive, as are our hopes of a perfect week.
We'll stay with the Euro 2024 qualifiers, but we'll head to Austria, because there's a battle between two nations who are well on course for next year's finals. Austria and Belgium are locked together on 13 points, and if either team wins tonight's clash, qualification is secure.
Although he was unfairly derided for his unsuccessful caretaker spell at the chaotic whirlpool that is Manchester United, Ralf Rangnick has done a terrific job at the helm of Austria. He has led his side to an unbeaten campaign so far, beating third-placed Sweden home and away and drawing 1-1 in Belgium.
Freiburg striker Michael Gregoritsch has been a star of this campaign, scoring in four of his country's five qualifiers. He is on the verge of his 50th cap, and this is by far his most impressive run of form at international level.
Belgium parted ways with long-serving coach Roberto Martinez after a disappointing World Cup, and former Schalke and RB Leipzig boss Domenico Tedesco took up the reins. In his first international job, the German has done well - the Red Devils have conceded just one goal in five qualifiers and have scored 13.
Despite the absence of Kevin de Bruyne (injured) and Eden Hazard (now retired), Romelu Lukaku has shouldered the attacking burden with eight goals. He is also in good form with his club, having scored a brace in Roma's 4-1 weekend win at Cagliari.
I'll keep this simple and back Both Teams To Score at 1.84/5. Both teams have scored in all five of their qualifiers, Belgium have a clutch of in-form attackers in Lukaku, Lois Openda and Jeremy Doku, and the visitors have scored in 57 of their last 60 internationals. I think Austria have enough quality to test a defensive unit that lacks a bit of pace.
