Nonsense involving Nancy for us last night, as their goalless stalemate at Stade Briochin left us without a BTTS winner. We lick our wounds as we head over the border to Spain to take in Atletico Madrid's clash with Mallorca.
It wasn't that long ago that people were talking about Diego Simeone's future, and speculating whether the capital club would be able to qualify for the Champions League. However, Simeone's position seems a lot more secure now after a run of 10 wins in 13 top-flight matches.
The inspiration behind the run has been French superstar Antoine Griezmann, who is surely a contender for La Liga's best player this season. He had a terrific World Cup with France, and has carried that form on in a more advanced role. He has 11 goals and eight assists in La Liga, and has scored six goals in his last 11 games.
Mallorca are safe in mid-table and have little to play for, and their away form is poor, with six defeats in their last eight on the road. They have lost at Betis, Real Sociedad and Real Madrid, and I expect them to struggle here against another side in the top five.
Atleti have won six of their last seven home games in La Liga, and I fancy them to take maximum points again here. However, backing them at 1.412/5 won't make us rich, so I'll use the Bet Builder on the Sportsbook to add in Griezmann to score or assist, which takes us to 1.9310/11.
